One of the best ways to learn Lightroom is by working through realistic workflows with your actual images. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own shots which we can use as example images to take you through real world workflow scenarios.
We start by taking the time to explain how Lightroom actually works!....This is not always covered adequately by some courses and is very important. We then show you how to get set up with several options to suit different attendee workflows. Then the import and organising stage is covered allowing you to quickly and easily find your images at any stage in the future.
Editing. Ligtroom is an excellent editor - and we spend much of thecourse on this, highlighting the fact that Lightroom edits are non-destructive - you can make a wide range of changes to your images - Lightroom does not touch the originals but saves the details allowing you to undo or modify them at any time. We work through multiple examples of this in practice during the course, followed by numerous export scenarios for different uses such as print, web, slideshows etc. Plenty of tips for organising your images too.
